Security is the foundation of everything we do. We've built a proprietary protection system from the ground up, designed specifically for the unique demands of a legacy delivery service.
Most security tools weren't designed for what we do. They assume you'll always be there to unlock your own data. We knew from day one that a legacy service has a different job: keeping your information private today, and making sure the right people can access it when you no longer can.
So we built our own protection system from scratch, a multi-layered architecture engineered specifically for this challenge. It's not a patchwork of off-the-shelf tools. It's a unified, proprietary design that we've refined and hardened over time.
Every account is an isolated vault. Your files, your messages, your recipients, all walled off from every other member. There is no shared space, no cross-access, no possibility of one member's data bleeding into another's. Your vault exists for you and the people you choose to receive from it. No one else.
From the moment you upload a file or write a message, your content is protected by our proprietary encryption system. Your information is never stored in a readable form. It sits in your vault, guarded, until the moment your delivery conditions are met, and only then is it prepared for your recipients.
We never need to look at what you've stored, and we've designed the system so that neither us nor anyone can. Your words are yours, strictly confidential and secure.
Our protection system doesn't rely on a single safeguard. Multiple independent layers work together so that no failure can compromise your data. We've designed it so that even if multiple layers of encription and security somehow breached, the others hold, and the files remain locked away.
We intentionally keep the details of how these layers interact confidential. The specifics of our architecture are proprietary, and that secrecy is itself a layer of protection. What we can tell you is this: your data is protected before uploading, at rest in storage, in transit, and at every step in between.
A security system that breaks down over time isn't secure. We've designed Lazarus Vault to run reliably for years - even decades - without the kind of constant maintenance and updates that create windows of vulnerability. The technology is deliberately robust and battle-tested, chosen for longevity over novelty.
When your vault needs to open, it will open, and not before. That's not just a feature, it's the core of the service, and our security system is built to honor it.
When the time comes, your recipients receive a private, secure link to access what you've left for them. Each link is unique, time-limited, and can be revoked at any time. No one can access your delivered content without that link, and the link expires on its own.
Your recipients don't need an account, a password, or any technical knowledge. They simply follow the directions in the email, follow their unique link and receive what you intended for them.
For payments, we use Stripe one of the most trusted and widely used payment platforms in the world. Your payment information is handled entirely by Stripe and we never touch it in any way, the transaction is handled by their servers and we never see or store your payment information. We accept nothing less than a provider we'd trust with our own money.
Beyond payments, we deliberately avoid unnecessary third-party integrations. The fewer external services involved, the fewer outside companies maintaining their own code packages and vulnerabilities, the fewer potential avenues for exposure. Our system is self-contained by design.
